I am now teaching and don't have a lot of time for my genealogy except during my summer breaks. Please understand that I can't often answer email right away nor can I post information immediately. I also cannot do research for you. I don't have time for my own. Also, on my Worldconnect Lamar Gedcom page, I have posted everything that I have.

Most Lamars in the United States trace their ancestry back to three brothers who migrated to America from France in the 1600's, Thomas, Peter, and John Lamore/Lamare. There may have been a fourth brother. These brothers ended up in Maryland but they may have been in Virginia first. I welcome any information about the migration of these brothers.
